Tourist Attractions Around Healesville, Victoria

Healesville and its surrounding region of Victoria house some amazing parks, popular wineries and cellar doors. The internationally famous Healesville Sanctuary is one of the major tourist attractions of this town. Stretched over 30 hectares of bushland, this sanctuary is home to a number of Aussie wildlife species including koalas, kangaroos, emus, wombats, platypus, dingoes and a variety of bird species.

Healesville’s Glassblowing Studio is a unique tourist attraction. Explore the exhibits and displays of artist Tali Dalton and Tim Bassett at this studio in Healesville. Visitors can take the opportunity to watch the glass blowing process at the mezzanine viewing area inside the studio.

The Healesville commercial centre is also a popular shopping hub among visitors. The venue boasts a tree-lined boulevard housing some world-class hotels, specialty shops and supermarkets. Visitors coming here can visit the historic Grand Hotel and explore the shopping avenue boasting some specialty stores and convenience shops.

Healesville houses the popular winery of Boat O’Craigo. Nestled across hill ranges and boasting numerous grape plantations, this cellar door is known to produce high-quality white wine varieties including Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc and a number of elegant red wines such as Pinot Noir and Shiraz.
