In winter, the site of Mt Donna Buang becomes snow-capped with regular snowfall. As a result, a number of Melbournians come here for winter activities including snow-boarding, skiing and tobogganing. You will find a number of food stalls and toboggan hire stores here in winter as well as ample car parking at the summit. However, the summit gate remains closed during the evening, once it starts to snow.
